Coach Christoph Daum to depart from Frankfurt

     BERLIN, May 16 (Xinhua) -- Relegated¹ Frankfurt and head coach Christoph Daum agreed to part ways after only 55 days of cooperation, the club announced the decision on Monday.

    Finally, after a long back and forth² Frankfurt and head coach Christop Daum decided³ to separate ways.

    Daum and Frankfurt staged a disappointing(令人失望的) season with only three points out of the seven matches to descend⁴ into second division of German Bundesliga.

    "Eintracht Frankfurt should address the promotion⁵ with another coach. There is no future for me so even if the club and the team are very close to my heart," Daum said.

    Daum took over Frankfurt at the 22nd match of the season after former coach Michael Skibbe was sacked.
