Judoka Bermoy wins first medal for Cuba

 LONDON, Jul. 29 (Xinhua) -- Cuban Janet Bermoy Sunday won a silver medal, the first London Olympic medal for Cuba, in the 52-kilogram division of judo¹.

Bermoy was defeated by DPR Korean judoka Ae An Kum, who won the gold medal in the competition.

This is the second silver medal in Olympic Games for 25-year-old Bermoy. The first one was won in Beijing 2008, but in the 48-kilogram division.
