 　　HOUSTON, May 9 (Xinhua) -- A small plane crashed Thursday in the U.S. state of Texas, killing¹ two people aboard, officials said.

　　The single-engine plane went down near Fredericksburg city's airport, some 153 km north of San Antonio, killing a man and woman, CBS news quoted city spokeswoman Juli Bahlinger as saying.

　　The identities of the victims were not released as investigators² for the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board went to the scene.
