Deputy Finance Minister Nadia Valavani resigned, saying she couldn’t support tough austerity measures tied to the bailout deal. The Greek parliament must approve the package within the hour if the 86-billion-dollar bailout is to go ahead.

“I am not going to vote for this agreement, and this meant that I can not stay as a member. I can not stay in the government.” Nadia Valavani there.
