 A trough to the east that has been triggering¹ severe thunderstorms will contract up into Queensland. It might still have potential of isolated² storm about the far northern ranges in border coast of New South Wales, but more likely through southeast Queensland than spreading through the central northern inland and across parts of the Northern Territory. Elsewhere, it will got clearing showers through southeast as high pressure system becomes the dominant³ feature.

For Queensland, quite stormy anywhere through the inland. Even long parts of the central coast, a few showers about the tropical coast. Showers and storm should clear later in the day through the southeast. For New South Wales, mostly dry. A little bit of cloud along the coast fringe⁴. We are showing for its about 30% chance of 0.5 millimeter of rain. It can be a fairly dry forecast for the weekend.

For Victoria, any showers on the south of the range should clear as the morning for /. That should be dry as we moving through afternoon as well.

Tasmania, looking at the potential of a few showers. Mostly in the western and far south of the state. It will be potential of some snow, and will about 500-600 meters first but that will rise quickly through the day.

South Australia should be generally dry. We are looking at wild conditions in the south, tending hot through the north. Generally dry through the southwestern Australia, perhaps some isolated thunderstorm through more eastern areas, but more likely about the northern and central inland. Also widespread across much of the territory.
