An ABC journalist and Cameramen had been told they won't face charges in Malaysia after attempting to question Prime Minister Najib Razak during a public event. Four Corners reporter Linton Besser and Cameramen Louie Eroglu were told overnight they'd face court today on charges of obstructing¹ a public servant. but 3 hours later, Malaysian police say no charges would be filed and the pair may be free to leave the country this morning.

Federal MPs and senators are returning to Canberra for what could be a crucial final week of sittings before the budget is handed down in May.
