The federal opposition¹ has reacted angrily to a series of federal police raids on Alp offices and staffer's home in Melbourne.

The AFP searched the office of Labor² frontbencher Stephen Conroy and a house in Brunswick as part of an investigation³ into leaked documents about the national broadband network.

The AFP says the investigation is independent from government, and both Labor and the coalition⁴ were notified of the raids after they commenced.
