2018年CRI Flamingos photographed in north China's salt lake

 

Flamingos¹ were recently photographed in Yuncheng, in north China's Shanxi province.

The flamingos were seen foraging² at a local salt lake.

Animal protection activists³ said a family of eight flamingos now lives at the lake.

It's believed the flamingos were attracted to the lake by the abundance of algae⁴ and salt worms.
