2019年CRI G20 meetings urged to increase African presence

 

With the G20 summit around the corner, a former official of the United Nations Development Program is calling for a stronger African observer presence within the G20 mechanism¹.

CRI's Tu Yun, who is covering this week's G20 Summit in Osaka, caught up earlier with Hannah Ryder, former head of policy and partnerships² for UNDP China, who was taking part in an international forum³ on the global economy held ahead of the G20 leaders summit.

Ryder now serves as the CEO of international consultancy Development Reimagined.
