公众人物毕业演讲第333期:彭博2013在肯尼恩学院(1)

 　　Good morning, faculty¹, family, students, friends lords and ladies all.

　　早上好 老师们 家人们 同学们 朋友们女士们 先生们And Ryan, thank you for that kind introduction and thank you, Provost Samhat.

　　Although I will have to go back and look at the art of ubiquity when I get back home.

　　And President Nugent, thank you very much for giving me such a warm welcome today.

　　也非常感谢纽金特校长今天给予我如此热烈的欢迎Some of the students did suggest that I call the President "The Nooge" -- but that doesn't seem dignified² particularly when she's living.

　　The New York tabloids³ call me Bloomy And that's when they're being nice. So I got used to this.

　　你们克服了重重阻碍 最终获得文凭我问过一些学生 他们说Well, you overcame swine flu freshman⁷ year You overcame middle path in mud and snow and ice.

1 faculty

2 dignified

3 tabloids

4 salute

6 remarkable

7 freshman
