So how do you start a club, Cliff?

First, you find an interest.

Yes. You want people to join your club!

The school must agree to your idea.

Then the school can find a good place for your club.

1 club   

n社团；俱乐部，夜总会，社；棍棒，（高尔夫球等的）球棒， （扑克牌）梅花；vt.棍打，把...当棍棒用；协作，联合

2 interest   

v.引起…关注；使…感兴趣

参考例句：

• She lost interest in him.她对他失去兴趣。
• He developed an interest in science.他养成了对科学的兴趣。

3 gardening   

n.造园，造园术，园艺

参考例句：

• Dad is always in a good humour for gardening.爸爸干园艺活时，心情总是很好。
• She's outdoors gardening every afternoon.她每天下午都在户外搞园艺。

4 clubs   

n.（尤指年轻人听音乐、跳舞等的）俱乐部( club的名词复数 )；梅花；（尤指英国）男性俱乐部；（以优惠价出售图书、激光唱片等给成员的）读者俱乐部

参考例句：

• the deuce of clubs 梅花二
• a set of golf clubs 一套高尔夫球杆

5 agree   

vi.同意，赞成，承认，适合；vt.同意

参考例句：

• I totally agree with you.我完全同意你的看法。
• They could not agree about who should do the work.对于谁该做这项工作，他们意见不一致。

6 choices   

选择( choice的名词复数 )； 挑选； 供选择的东西； 入选者

参考例句：

• Of the two choices, I prefer the latter. 在两种中选择，我要后者。
• There are so many choices to make and I don't know which hotel to book into. 有很多旅馆可以挑选，我不知该住哪家才好。

7 decide   

vi./vt.决定；下决心

参考例句：

• It's a difficult question to decide.这是个难以决定的问题。
• I can't decide which to choose.我无法决定要选哪一个。

8 conversation   

n.谈话，交谈

参考例句：

• Conversation is one of pleasures of life.交谈是人生一大乐趣。
• We'll carry on a conversation with her tomorrow.我们将于明天与她会谈。

9 cliff   

n.悬崖，峭壁

参考例句：

• The cliff edge is dangerous and should be railed.崖边危险，应该用栏杆围起来。
• He took the measure of the cliff before he climbed it.他把悬崖的高度估量一下后再攀登。

10 nickname   

n.绰号，昵称；v.给...取绰号，叫错名字

参考例句：

• She called me by my nickname.她叫我的外号。
• Why do you fasten such a nickname on her?你为什么给她取这样一个绰号？

11 might   

aux./v.(may的过去式)可能；可以，允许

参考例句：

• It looks as if it might snow.看起来好像要下雪了。
• Might I ask a question?我能问个问题吗？
