Lesson 21 The wrong car
Father: Ah, here we are.
This is our car.
Father: Would you get the key
out of my pocket for me please, dear?
My hands are full.
Mother: There aren’t any keys in this pocket.
Father: Could you look
in the other pocket please?
Mother: Here it is.
Father: Now will you unlock the door please?
Mother: That’s funny.
The key doesn’t fit in the lock.
Father: My goodness!
This is the wrong car!
It’s exactly like ours,
but it doesn’t belong to us.
Stranger: Hey!
What are you doing to my car?
Father: I’m sorry.
We’ve made a mistake.
