1. 26-year-old Kevin Underwood was charged with 1st-degree murder in Purcell, Oklahoma Monday for the brutal death of his 10-year-old neighbor Jamie Rose Bolin. Police say Underwood sexually assaulted the girl after he killed her and say he planned to eat the corpse.

2. At least 9 people were killed after a suicide bomber set off a device near a crowded fast-food restaurant in Tel Aviv. Nearly 50 were wounded in the attack. Islamic Jihad claims responsibility.

3. The annual White House Easter Egg Roll was held Monday despite wet weather. First Lady Laura Bush and President Bush presided over the traditional egg roll. The Family Pride Coalition encouraged same-sex couples to attend this year.

4. Pulitzer Prize winners were announced Monday. The Times-Picayune of New Orleans and the Sun Herald of Gulfport, Mississippi, each won Public Service Awards for their coverage of Hurricane Katrina. The Washington Post won a total of 4 Pulitzers.
