O.J. Simpson is facing charges related to an alleged armed robbery at a Las Vegas hotel. He was arrested this afternoon. Authorities say the former football star was in a group of people that stole sports memorabilia.
At least 88 people died when their plane crashed on the Thai island of Phuket. The plane was making a second attempt at landing when it went down in heavy rains, skidded off the runway and broke in two.
Wildfires have forced thousands of people from their homes in southern California. The governor has declared a state of emergency for San Bernardino County. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Talk about lucky. A drag racer in Australia survived this spectacular crash Saturday night. The dragster actually snapped in two and burst into flames. Amazingly, the driver walked away. He spent a night in a hospital but was discharged with just a cut-finger.
