3. Three-time World Surfing Champion Shaken Fanning arrived home in Australia Tuesday after surviving a shark attack. The frightening moment was caught on camera during a televised final of World's Surfing competition in South Africa over the weekend.

4. Officials in California say flooding at the normally-dry interstate can caused a bridge to collapse⁵. An average 27,000 vehicles a day use the busy part of pass the interstate and officials are not sure when it will reopen.
