1. President-elect Donald Trump¹ held another round of meetings in New Jersey² on Sunday dealt shape of his cabinet. Trump was seen arriving on church service on Sunday with vice³ president-elect Mike Pence, along with chief of staff-pick Reince Priebus and advisor⁴ Kellyanne Conway.

2. Over one hundred people were killed when an overnight passenger train derailed in northern India. Rescuers worked into the night, pulling people out the mangled⁵ coaches. About 150 were injured.

3. President Obama held a brief discussion with Russian president Vladimir Putin ahead of Sunday's APEC summit meetings. The two leaders were seen talking with their respective translators in departed after shaking hands.

4. And German Chancellor⁶ Angela Merkel will seek a fourth term in general elections next year. Merkel is expected to declare her candidacy for chancellor at a press conference at the party's headquarter on Sunday.
