Authorities say a women killed when a house in Omaha exploded was a property inspector¹ sent to check its condition after a tenant² was evicted³. The explosion leveled the house and heavily damaged 4 adjacent homes.

About 400 firefighters battled a forest fire in Spain on Tuesday. The flames flared⁴ overnight fueled by high temperatures and strong winds on a nearby farm.

The Solar Impluse II plane has landed in Abu Dhabi more than a year after its initial take off completing the first round-the-world flight to be powered solely⁵ by the sun's energy. The plane made 16 stops including India, China, the US, Italy and Egypt.

And Cuba marked the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution. Thousands waved Cuban flags as this year's commemoration was dedicated⁶ to former president Fidel Castro who is turning 90 in August.
