Iran says there's no chance for negotiations¹ with the US, now that the new US sanctions are in place. National Security Adviser² John Bolton, in Jerusalem, wouldn't rule out talks with Iran.

A Texas congresswoman says most of the children in a border patrol station near El Paso have been removed. There were reports of more than 300 children detained in squalid conditions, without enough food or water.

A brush fire burned 86 cars in a Carmax dealership³ lot in Bakersfield, California. Authorities say a truck dragging a chain or some other objects may have caused sparks, and started the fire.

And Space-X launched its biggest rocket with 24 research satellites on board. 2 booster rockets made a smooth landing at Cape⁴ Canaveral, but the core booster missed its ocean platform.
