 　　Come to the festal board tonight, 快来，参加今晚聚会，

　　For bright-eyed beauty will be there, 那美丽的，大眼睛姑娘要来，

　　Her coral lips in nectar steeped, 她珊瑚色嘴唇，浸透花蜜，

　　And garlanded her hair. 头上戴着，芳香的花蕾。

　　Come to the festal board tonight, 快来，参加今晚聚会，

　　For there the joyous¹ laugh of youth 到处有，年轻人爽朗笑脸，

　　Will ring those silvery peals², which speak of bosom³ pure and stainless⁴ truth. 月光下奏响，银铃般乐曲，讴歌纯净内心，不变信念。

　　Come to the festal board tonight, 快来，参加今晚聚会，

　　For friendship, there, with stronger chain, 连结一条，友谊的纽带，

　　Devoted⁵ hearts already bound for good or ill, will bind⁶ again. I went. 憧憬的心，跳跃不停，无论未来如何，我们心心相印。

　　Nature and art their stores outpoured; 天籁自然，袒露内心真诚，

　　Joy beamed in every kindling⁷ glance; 笑语欢歌，满面春风送迎，

　　Love, friendship, youth, and beauty smiled; 关爱叮咛，谱写难忘青春，

　　What could that evening's bliss⁸ enhance? We parted. 祝福声声，挥手兹别壮行。

　　And years have flown; but where are now The guests who round that table met? 岁月穿梭，依稀已非从前，分聚离散，陌路难得相见，

　　Rises their sun as gloriously, 星光闪烁，重逢已是不堪，

　　As on the banquet's eve it set? 是否记起，昨日笑容灿烂？

　　How holds the chain which friendship wove? 何以维系，曾经友谊纽带？

　　It broke; and soon the hearts it bound, 分道扬镳，畅怀交流不再，

　　Were widely sundered⁹; and for peace, 嫉妒冲突，甚至流血，
