 US and Ukrainian officials have been accusing Russia of firing rockets in artillery1 shells at Ukrainian troops across the border. NPR's Corey Flintoff says Russia's Foreign Minister meanwhile calls the allegations lies, is accusing Ukrainian forces of shelling off a Russian village.

Ukrainian officials have been saying for days that Russian troops have been firing across the border in an effort to a pro-Russian Separatist in eastern Ukraine. The allegation's come as the Separatists appear to be losing ground in the face of Ukrainian offensive. A Pentagon spokesman says that the US has seen the Russian military bringing more weapons close to the Ukrainian border, including powerful rocket systems. The allegation comes as international experts are trying to examine the wreckage2 of the Malaysian jet that were shot down in the area more than a week ago. Corey Flintoff, NPR news, Donetsk.
 
Regional wildfires burning Washington State now has destroy twice as many homes as initially3 estimated around 300 hundreds, according to the officials there, who say it's now become that state's biggest wildfire ever. Nearly four hundreds square miles Carlton Complex fire, which officials believed was sparked by the lightening, already eclipsing the old record site fire set back in 1902. In Dallas, Michael Phillips has become the 34th person in the city to be exonerated5 by DNA6 evidence. From Dallas, NPR's Wade7 Goodmyn reports Philips is the first exoneree who wasn't actively8 protesting his innocence9 and trying to clear his name.
57-year-old Michael Phillips was convicted in raping10 a 16-year-old white girl in 1990 when he was aged11 33. Although the perpetrator used a ski mask during the crime, the victim believed that it was Phillips and picked him out of a photo line-up. The two lived in the same motel complex.Even though he was innocent, Phillips pleaded guilty and served twelve years rather than facing two or three times of that sentence. He was found to be innocent, when the DNA evidence in his case was tested and was found belong to Lee Marvin Banks, a different black man who also lived in the motel complex.Wade Goodmyn, NPR news, Dallas.
 
Commerce Department says orders for durable12 goods rose in June 0.7% after a big decrease the previous month. Byan Swan, an economist13 at *Misrul Financial says the pick-up will be consistent within the economy.There's gaining steam as the second half gets under way.
"Durable goods were overall within line *clarification that said they were a little bit hollow on the gains that we had hoped,particularly in terms of shipments. The durable goods order suggests that we will see some comeback investment. In the third quarter, the problems is shipments were still weak." The increase orders were *snug by higher demand for machinery14 and commercial aircraft. The key *categories under-measured business investment was also up.

Delaware County District Jack22 Whelan says that psychiatrist Lee Silverman used a license23 concealed24 hand gun to shoot patient Richard Plotts after Plotts pulled out a gun during a medical appointment and started firing. 
"We believe that after he killed the caseworker, and after he tried to kill Dr. Silverman, that he was not gonna stop there." Whelan says that the patient had more ammunition25 on him. He's been treated for the gunshot wounds before facing murder charges. While some psychiatrists26 say it's unusual for their colleagues to carry guns, the American Psychiatrist Association says it has no official position on unusual situations like this. Energy giant Exxon reported be looking at the idea of expending27 its current refinery28 in Beaumont, Texas. The proposed multibillion-dollar expansion designs to make that facility the largest in the country. And that signs, unlike some of its rivals, Exxon may be preparing to remain in the refining business. The expansion of the 334,000-barrel-per-day Beaumont facility's carried-out will be completed by 2020.
