Meeting a new boss¹

A: Good morning, Mr. Montgomery. I’ve been sent over 

from purchasing² to fill in for Clare Williams.

B: Oh, really? Nice to meet you. I thought they were going to leave me here on my own! How long have you

been with the company?

A: Oh, about seven years. Time flies, you know!

B: Does it ever! Well, let’s get started. If you could begin 

typing this letter now, I’ll see what else needs to be done.

A：早上好，蒙格玛利先生。我是从采购部调来接替克

莱尔·威谦姆斯的。

B：喔，是吗？幸会。 我以为他们要把我一个人扔在这儿呢。 

你来公司有几年了？

A：哦，得有七年了。 光阴似箭。
