 Do you like fashion? Are you proud of your look ? Would you like to share your fashion with people from around the world? At Lookbook.nu fashion bloggers post their everyday looks to share with an online community of other fashion-minded individuals.

 

The website was co-created by San Franciscan, Yuri Lee, in 2008. She was interested in creating a website where people could post their own street fashion. Lookbook.nu is representative of global youth culture and is part of a larger movement of ordinary people setting¹ fashion trends rather than big name brands. The website has grown to over 50,000 members and has become influential² in the fashion world.

 

Anyone can sign up. Members post their own looks, browse³ looks posted by others, and vote for or “Hype” their favorite looks. The looks with most “Hypes” get exposure⁴ on the front page. The site has even created a few fashion blogger superstars.
