Beijing: It's a bit like the Boxing Day sales, except in China, online and unfathomably bigger. An estimated 1.7 million couriers and postal³ workers scooting around in 400,000 delivery vehicles will deliver a staggering 760 million packages from 5000 warehouses⁴ as hundreds of millions of Chinese shoppers click themselves into a 24-hour retail⁵ frenzy.
