 Dogs aren't just man's best friend. Previous studies have shown that kids with dogs are less likely to develop asthma¹. Now new studies may show how. For those (from) mice it applied² was. The ideas that  extreme cleanness may actually promote disease later on. Researchers collected dusts from home who had a dog. They fed that house dust to mice. Then they infected the mice with a common childhood infection called R S Virus or RSV. Mice who ate the dog dust will protected against RSV infections symptoms, like inflamed³ new (Mexico)airwaves. Suggesting its exposure help them stay off the virus. Those mice have also more diverse communities of got-bacterias than control mice did. Researchers say our pets mites⁴ groups may colonize⁵ our gut⁶ too and help our immune system learn to respond to infection. That's important because when kids develops their RSV, their risk of asthma goes up. So next time buster shuds over the couch, think it as a bonus dose of probiotics.
