 One an old route humans took when they first migrated from Africa into Europe seems that they might have marched the path. But recently, some scientists of DRI's that humans made it to Europe first and then headed East. Now there is more support for the old view that humans travel through the Lavant on the way to the Europe in the form of the shells of adbol marine⁵ snails. The study is on the proceedings⁶ of the National Academy of Sciences.  Researchers evaluated shells from an archaeological sight dated to the upper palliate ethic⁷ in Lavenon. The shells were mostly intact, except the taper⁸ pointy tip have been removed, most likely for easier access to the medium side. The scientists calculated the age of the shells by a variety of methods and they found out that the snails dated back almost 46 thousands years. The earliest evidence of modern human remains⁹ in Europe seems to be no more than 45 thousands years old. The snail¹ evidence that adds weight to the hypothesis that ancient people passed through the Lavant on their way to Europe and not at the snail's pace either.
