A: Am I right in thinking¹ that this dress is on sale²?

我不知道这件衣服还在打折中吗？

B: I'm sorry. You're one day too late for the sale.

抱歉。现在已经不打折了。

A: Couldn't you still sell it today at the sale price³?

那能以打折时的价钱卖给我吗？

B: I'm sorry. One day can make a big difference⁴ sometimes.
