Personally, I would like to say that new skill I wanna learn is painting.There are a couple of reasons to name. The first reason I wanna say is painting can help me to refine¹ the taste for art and improve the understanding of the culture, custom and history of my country, thus i can focus² on my study and work..The second reason isit can help me to relax and relieve³ the pressure from work and study and improve my health condition, thus I can better focus on my study.So that’s why I wanna learn to painting.

1 refine   

vt.精炼，精制，提纯；使优美，使完善

参考例句：

2 focus   

n.焦点，焦距；vi.聚焦，注视；vt.使聚焦，调焦，集中

3 relieve   

v.缓解，减轻，解除(痛苦、忧虑、麻烦)
