“After the earthquake, we started to value more on people's communication and relationship. So if this, this toy is, it's a very simple toy, but you have to touch somebody, you have to make real communication, real touch with somebody, hum, so this toys are good to, hum, gain relationship or communication that really makes you secure⁴ or happy, by really like seeing someone, touching someone, not like on, through internet or through e-mail.”

 

The Japanese toy market grew 4.5 percent in 2010 despite a tough economic year.
