 A milestone¹ today for Goliath, the biggest company in the world apple unveiled its newest whiz-bang must have gadget². It has become a kind of ritual or now met with breathless anticipation³ presided over in the past by Steve Jobs. 

 

But today, the show went on without him and one question hung in the air : Can Apple still make the magic without their leader? Here's ABC's Neal Karlinsky.

 

Today, we're announcing the new iPad. 

 

The new iPad with a same old name is HD, and has a faster wireless⁴ connection. One of newest innovations is they build a type and send a message without actually using the keyboard, you can simply speak.

 

World news with Diana Sawyer. And the iPad types it itself. And it may not live up to the considerable hype that summit hope for that might not matter. Last time the iPad was announced when I twittered with the people think it was a disappointment and it turns out that it's the best selling device that has ever made. 

 

 

Apple stock shot up 32.5 percents since January, greater gain than the entire last year that Steve Jobs was alive, but he worked on this products before his death. The real test comes in anothe year or so when Apple must innovate⁵ on its own.
