Unit 2 Text B  Advertising   课文详见教材       一．基本句型：英语虽然句型多样，但一般句子主要可分成主语和谓语两大块。主语一般由名词或相当于名词作用的其它词，词组，或从句充当。而谓语较复杂，不同的句型就是不同的谓语结构决定的。英语大致可以分为五种基本句型：   A. 主―系－表SVC     The state tax laws are diverse and confusing.     The simpliest kind of advertising is the classified ad.   B. 主－动 SV     The percentage varies from person to person.     The percentage of the tax increases as a person’s income.   C. 主－动－宾 SVo     people always complain about taxes.     Newspapers carry a large amount of display advertising.   D. 主－动－宾－宾 SVoo     Americans pay their government high taxes.   E. 主－动－宾－补 SVoC     The Americans people are expecting their government to lower their taxes.     Advertisements can sometimes persuade people to buy things that they do not nee.
