A: Can you help me find out where the EDD office is?
B: There is very little need to go to the Unemployment¹ Office to apply. It can all be done over the Internet or you can phone in to get an application.
A: I want to make use of their job hotline and the information on the computers.
B: The office has many job listings to help you with your job search.
A: How do I find out where my local office is located²?
B: You can dial information, and the operator³ can give you the phone number and address of the office.
A: What is the office that serves our area?
B: I am not sure, but I think that it is in the building on Green Street just west of the college.
A: I think I might go over there so I will get my money quicker.
B: It doesn’t matter if you file⁴ online or in person. The wait is still a week for your first check.
