B: Did your journey¹ turn out as well as you had hoped it would?
A: All trips have good and bad points, but this one had mostly good ones.
B: Did you have something you enjoyed the most?
A: My favorite thing was the amazing food.
B: Were the people receptive to having visitors?
A: You could tell that some people did not have a favorable² view of Americans.
B: Did you get me a souvenir³?
A: Of course I brought you something!
B: Next time I am going to be the one to go away, and you can stay home and feed the dog!
