　　The Windmill 风车

　　In the Netherlands, we see a lot of buildings with huge¹ wings. 在荷兰，我们会看到很多有巨大风翼的建筑。

　　What are they? They are not houses, they're windmills. 它们是什么？它们不是房子，而是风车。

　　The Netherlands and many other countries build windmills. 荷兰和许多其他国家都有风车。

　　Most windmills have four wings. 大多数风车有四个风翼。

　　These wings are called blades². 这些风翼叫做风叶。

　　When the wind blows, the four blades on a windmill move around. 刮风时，风车上的四个风叶会转动。

　　With the machine³ in the windmill, people can light up their houses and do a lot of things. 人们利用风车的这个装置来照明和做许多其他的事。

　　The machine works⁴ better if the weather is windy. 如果是有风的天气，风车会工作得更好。

　　So you see windmills often in a windy city. 所以你在有风的城市经常能见到风车。
