英闻天下——42 China to Release Real-Time Air Quality Data

 　　The government will issue real-time air quality monitoring data in 74 cities starting January 1st.

 

　　The Ministry¹ of Environmental Protection says the data will include PM2.5, a gauge² which monitors fine particles with a diameter of 2.5 microns or less.

 

　　Information on major pollutants³ in the air, including sulfur⁴ dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone⁵, carbon monoxide and fine particles, will also be released.
