 A lesson young Theodora learned at home.-Theodora is, she has a rough start. She's born into relatively¹ poverty. Her father's a bear trainer. We know how hard that could be. Her mother's an actress, which is synonymous with prostitute. So Theodora then growing up is surrounded by sex and presumably bears. 

But times are tough, and it's not long before young Theodora is following in her mother's footsteps. To set herself apart from other working girls, she comes up with a business strategy that no one else can top, sex shows.

In this popular Greek myth, Leda, a king's daughter, is seduced³ by the God Zeus in a form of a swan.
