 　　A 32-stone man decided¹ to turn his life around after being kicked off a ride at Alton Towers over his Obese² frame.

　　James Dunn, 28, felt so humiliated³ he gave up pasties, sausage rolls and sugary drinks to transform his body a year ago.

　　Now James weighs in at less than 15 stone and says his hard work has changed his life.

　　He claimed the stress of studying while working two jobs meant he filled up on convenience food and skipped exercise.

　　He told the Liverpool Echo: "I'd always skip breakfast, and then for lunch I'd have pasties, sausage rolls, white bread and I'd drink sugary drinks.

　　他在接受《利物浦回声报》采访时表示："我总是不吃早餐，所以吃午饭的时候我就用肉馅饼、香肠卷、白面包来充饥，同时我也会喝含糖饮料。"

　　"Then about four times a week I'd have takeaways, I'd eat whatever was convenient, and it would always be in huge portions that just weren't normal. I'd eat pizzas, Chinese, Indian, but not a portion that a normal person would eat. They'd always be massive portions."

　　Eventually, his weight issues got so bad he was kicked off a ride at Alton Towers when the safety bars wouldn't fasten - leaving him "mortified⁴" and wanting to change his ways.

　　James tried a number of diets - but his fear of failure meant he always did them in secret leaving him with no incentive⁵ to succeed.

　　He said: "I did the meal replacement⁶ shakes, all the weight loss clubs - I'd tried them all really, but I always did them in secret because I thought it didn't matter if I failed then. When they failed I didn't have to tell anyone and I suppose I wasn't accountable for the results."

　　However James life was turned around last year, when he saw an advert⁷ for a Channel 4 show which promised to help turn people's lives around.

　　To kick-start his weight-loss, he was given gastric⁹ sleeve surgery - where around 3/4 of his stomach was removed - but claims the real difference was made when Davina and her team introduced him to Liverpool-based personal trainer Mark Grice who placed James on a gruelling workout schedule.
