英语实用口语之工作不顺利

 　　How is work today?

　　It's been a hard day today. First I was one hour late. You know the traffic is really bad. And then I got yelled¹ at by my boss.

　　Oh,man!

　　That's not all. After that I sat down working at my computer.

　　But when I try to transfer² everything onto the disc³ I found my disc was broken.

　　You forgot to save it?

　　I totally forgot! The god damn⁴ disc was broken. I just lost the whole day's work.

　　It's like I've been working like a mad man and got nothing finally. Shit!

　　What's your mode,buddy? It's not the end of the world. There are always two sides to everything. Try to look on the bright side.

　　If there were bright sides.

　　Calm down! There are already mistakes. If you cannot redo it just choose to learn something from them.

　　I just made a promise that I shall never stay up late again.

　　That's it! See,that's the bright side of mistakes. You can always learn something from them.

　　I see your point but......

　　There is no such thing as,for ever buts. What happens is you are talking to your friend and she is trying to be your real friend.

　　You didn't lose your job anyway.

　　All right. Thank you. I feel much better now.
