MILAN, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Midfielder Andrea Pirlo has been confirmed by AC Milan to leave the club after 10 seasons, while both Alessandro Nesta and Filippo Inzaghi have agreed to one-year extensions1.
The 31-year-old had his contract expired(期满) on June 30, but he has agreed to leave the club after a season that saw him limited to 17 appearances for the Rossoneri in Serie A because of injury.
"I am here to say goodbye," he was quoted by Sky Sport Italia as saying. "These were 10 unforgettable years and it's a consensual separation. Do I hope Milan will regret losing me? Yes. "Pirlo has been linked with a move to Juventus this summer, while Nesta will return to the San Siro after making 26 starts for the club this season.

The moves come just one day after Milan signed a trio of players to new deals, with
