ROME, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Newly-promoted Serie A side Siena named Giuseppe Sannino as their new coach on Monday replacing new Juventus handler Antonio Conte.
The 54-year-old was given a warm welcome by club president Massimo Mezzaroma despite of no coaching experience in Serie A before.
"We welcome with open arms and with great enthusiasm Giuseppe Sannino," said Mezzaroma.
Sannino guided Varese to fourth place in Serie B this past season and lost to Padova in the promotional play-off.（本文由在线英语听力室整理编辑）
