BEIJING, May 21(Xinhuanet) --Robin1 Gibb, the singer and founder2 of British famous musical band Bee Gees3, passed away on Sunday at 62 "following his long battle with cancer and intestinal4 surgery,” according to a statement from his family Sunday.
Robin and his brothers, Barry and Maurice, were inducted into both Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musical style and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1997.
