E:You haven't said much since you got back home.

S:I'll be a ray of sunshine once Damon gets Alaric's stake¹ back. Promise.

E:You really scared me today. You wouldn't have survived if you went up. You know that, right?

S:Well, you don't have to worry about that anymore.

E:Why?

S:Beacuse he's not worth it. All this time and energy that I've wasted hating him. It was for nothing. It's done. It's over. We lost. I'm right back where I started.

E:That's not true. Yeah, Klaus dragged you through hell². But you came out the other side. You beat him by being better than him.

S:And what did I lose in the process? Look, hating Klaus was easy. It allowed me to igore everything that was happening around me. Everything I let slip³ away. Now I have to deal with that.

 

E：你回来以后都没怎么说过话 

S：我保证等Damon把阿拉里克的木桩拿回来以后，我保证会笑的像朵花似的。

E：你今天真的吓到我了。你要是真的去和克劳斯单打独斗，那你必死无疑。你心里清楚吧？

S：你不用再担心这事了

E：为什么？

S：因为他根本不配。我浪费了那么多时间和精力去恨他，都白搭了。都结束了。我们输了，我又回到了原点。

E：不是那样的。是的，克劳斯折磨得你很惨，但是你走出来了。你已经战胜了他，因为你比他好。

S：但在此过程中我所失去的呢？憎恨克劳斯实际上还轻松些，它让我能忽略身边所发生的一切。忽略那些眼睁睁从我手中溜走的。现在我必须来面对。
