越南敦促国际法庭判决南海案件

河内（路透社）——越南呼吁海牙国际还挺以“公正和客观“的态度判决菲律宾就南海争议向中国发起的裁决案。

In a carefully worded statement two daysafter the court announced July 12 as the verdict date, Vietnam's foreignministry said it hoped the ruling would provide a basis for peacefullyresolving rows.

在法庭宣布7月12号将公布结果的两天后，越南外交部措辞严谨称希望这个判决可以为和平的解决争议提供基础。

Vietnam is not a direct party to the casebut stands to gain if the verdict favors Manila. Like the Philippines, it isalso at odds⁴ with China, although it is wary⁵ not to push too far against amajor trade partner.

越南并没有直接参与这个案件，但是如果裁决结果有利于菲律宾的话，那么对越南也有好处。越南也与中国存在海洋争议，尽管不想和自己的主要贸易伙伴产生太过紧张的关系。

"Vietnam has always been observing thedevelopment of the case and wants the arbitration court to deliver a fair andobjective decision, creating a basis to peacefully resolve disputes in the(South China Sea)," Vietnam's foreign ministry³ spokesman, Le Hai Binh,said in a statement late on Friday.

“越南一直都在关注这个案件的发展，我们希望法庭可以做出公正客观的判决，为南海争议的和平解决提供一个基础，”越南外交部发言人周五如是说。
