　　在周日进行的男子400米自由泳决赛中，马克·霍顿了击败中国队的夺冠热门孙杨，为澳大利亚摘得里约奥运会首金。

　　Horton clocked 3 minutes 41.55 seconds, eclipsing Sun by just 13 hundredths of a second at the Olympic Aquatics² stadium. Gabriele Detti of Italy was third in 3:43.49.

　　在奥运会游泳场馆，马克·霍顿最终以3分41秒55的成绩夺冠，领先第二名孙杨0.13秒，意大利运动员加布里乐·戴帝以3分43秒49获得铜牌。

　　Horton, who finished second fastest in qualifying, is competing at his first Olympic Games in Rio. The 20-year-old was the bronze medalist in the 800m freestyle at last year's world championships in Kazan.

　　霍顿在预选赛中获得第二，这也是他在里约奥运会上首次登场亮相。20岁的他去年获得了喀山锦标赛800米自由泳的铜牌。

　　Sun was the pre-race favorite, having won gold in the same event at the London 2012 Games. The 24-year-old is also the defending 1500m Olympic champion.

　　"What just happened? I don't know that's insane. You just swim to win and that's what I did," Horton said after the race. "Literally³ the whole race I just kept telling myself I had this and I could do it."霍顿在赛后说道：“刚才发生了什么事？我不知道，这实在是太疯狂了。我只是在力争冠军而游泳，没想到我真的赢了。差不多在整场比赛中，我都在告诉自己我能行、我可以做到。”

　　Horton splashed himself with water as they prepared to get on the blocks, with some of the water intruding⁴ on Yang's area, but the Chinese star did not react.

　　当运动员们准备登上跳台开始比赛的时候，霍顿给自己泼了些水，一些水溅到了孙杨的区域里，但是这位中国队的明星并没有什么反应。

　　"Definitely a win for the good guys," Horton said. "Don't know if it's a rivalry⁵, just me and athletes who have tested positive I guess."霍顿说道：“这绝对是一场好人的胜利。我不知道这是否算是一场公平竞争，我猜只有我和那些没有使用兴奋剂的运动员才是吧。”
