But first, there's an amazing video on our Facebook page of a baby elephant being flown to safety in a light plane. Already hundreds of people have shared it. At the controls of the plane is the nurse and pilot Gary Roberts. He works as a missionary¹ for an American church in Chad and came across a herd² of elephants who'd been massacred by poachers. The baby was the only survivor³. So Gary took the enormous risk of putting it onboard his plane and flying it back to his compound for treatment.
