微信在俄罗斯因登记注册问题遭封禁

　　腾讯公司日前表示，他们正与俄罗斯当局就禁用微信进行沟通。

　　Russia's telecom watchdog announced earlier this week that WeChat is not in compliance¹ with Russia's information laws. At issue is registration².

　　俄罗斯电信监管机构在本周早些时候宣称，微信不符合俄罗斯信息法的相关规定。而主要的问题就在于登记。

　　Internet-based companies which have links in Russia are required to register with the government.

　　与俄罗斯有联系的互联网公司都必须向政府登记注册。

　　Tencent says it "had a different understanding" of the issue.

　　Other social media apps, including Blackberry Messenger, Imo and Line, have also run into similar restrictions³ in Russia.

　　WeChat is available in a vast majority of countries around the world. Tencent says it has around 900-million users worldwide.
