Son of darkness, I must do my duty by thee; I am part owner of this ship, and feel concerned for the souls of all its crew;  小魔鬼，我一定要为你尽我的责任，因为我是这条船的大股东，

if thou still clingest to thy Pagan ways, which I sadly fear, I beseech⁴ thee, remain not for aye a Belial bondsman.  我有义务也有权利关心这船上水手的灵魂！我郑重地请求你，放弃你以前的信仰，不要再做异教徒，

Spurn⁵ the idol⁶ Bell, and the hideous⁷ dragon; turn from the wrath⁸ to come; mind thine eye, I say; oh! goodness gracious! steer⁹ clear of the fiery¹⁰ pit!  不要再当恶魔的奴隶，趁如今上天的惩罚尚未到来，回头是岸啊！脱离苦海吧，我的孩子！
