当north，south，worth这三个词变为形容词worthy¹时，这些词原来词尾的[]因为受了后面元音的影响，就变为了浊音[]：

south  []    southern []
worth  []     worthy   []

1．She has traveled in northern countries.           她曾游历过北方诸国。

2．The southern half of the country is a desert.      这个国家的南半部是沙漠。

3．She says she helps only the worthy poor.          她说她只帮助那些值得她去帮助的穷人。
