BBC World Service Business Editor Martin Webber takes stock of the year 2014 in business. He asks if many of the big global economic projects of recent decades are now on the rocks, buffeted¹ by a reawakening of policies based on national interests. Joining Martin are two respected commentators³, Martin Wolf - chief economics commentator² at the Financial Times - and Peter Morici of the University of Maryland. Also in the programme we pay tribute to Business Matters presenter⁴ Mark Whittaker, who died suddenly this year, replaying an interview he did in June 2014 with campaigner Erin Brockovich. And we also pay tribute once again to Sally Hardcastle, another fondly remembered member of the team, who died in November.
