laurance--Listen!Somebody's playing the piano.
soony--Yeah,it sounds nice,doesn't it?I wish I
       could play a musical instrument.
laurance--Don't you play the violin?
soony--No,but my sister does.Actually,she's pretty
       good at it.
laurance--I took flute¹ lessons for a couple of years,
          but I never learned to play very well.I guess
          I don't have any musical talent.
soony--Oh,that's not true.You sing very well.I can't
       even do that!

1)play the piano:说演奏某种乐器时,乐器前要加定冠词,下句中还有play the violin.
2)It sounds nice...:sound是系动词,nice是表语.此句与you look happy是同样的结构.
3)wish用以表示愿望,其宾语从句中的动词必须要虚拟语气.
4)musical instrument:乐器.
5)She's...good at it:be good at sth.是擅长做某事.
6)took flute lessons:原意是上笛子课.
7)talent:天资,才能.
