LONDON, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Britain's cycling Olympic champion Nicole Cooke has announced her retirement1 from the sport.
Cooke, 29, announded her decision on Monday, saying that she was very happy with her career. "I have won every race and more that I dreamed I could win." she said.

clinched2 both the Olympic road race and world road race titles in 2008.
She finished 31st in London Olympics last year.
